Moving Grief in The Body with Maggie Converse

  • MoonMountain Highway 113 West Steuben Street Cook, WA, 98605 United States (map)

Moving Grief is a gathering that invites you to embody and connect with the medicine of your grief through ritual. We will explore grief through guided movement, somatic practices, journaling prompts, grounding meditative practices, energy healing and speaking our grief out loud (always optional). Together we practice, experience and embody what it means to be witnessed AND to bear witness to grief. All griefs are welcomed.

Cost: sliding scale of $25 - $45 | Preregister HERE.

About the facilitator:
Maggie is a death midwife and grief companion ~ called to this work from a reckoning of living in a death-phobic, grief avoidant society. With a background of over 15 years in body-based practices and energy work, she weaves this into her offerings. While Maggie holds space for all grief, she specializes in sudden loss and suicide loss. Maggie lives life with her earth guides, her beloved dogs - Ari and Daisy - and weaves the animal wisdom into her grief work.
