The Rooted Center Studio

Intimately situated behind the MoonMountain Highway mercantile, our studio is a 1,380 square foot open floor space that offers revolving classes and workshops through intentional facilitators that focus on conscious expression and embodiment centered offerings. This is a place where people come home to their bodies while held by the deep roots of community.

There is a welcoming private entry space separate from the studio for guests to check-in and store their belongings as well as a separate restroom convenient to the studio entry. Other accommodations include temperature control, running water (cold only) and countertop area, filtered water, tables and chairs, 20 person tea set up, small fridge, and a small selection of yoga mats and shavasana blankets.

Rates

$35/hour or $200 for a full day event (5+ hours)

While unlikely, other fees may apply depending on the type of event. It is our intention that each facilitator share their offerings with ease and grace. For this reason, we offer a 15 minute grace period on both sides of the start and completion time. If any additional time is needed for setting up or breaking down the space, please account for that in your rental time.

As part of the space rental, your event will also be listed on our website, included in our newsletters, listed in our printed monthly event calendar, and posted on our community bulletin board (if you choose to provide a flyer).

COVID-19: We will be following the guidelines provided by the state of Washington regarding COVID-19 protocol.

To further create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for our community, we have a Medify Air air purifier running at the facilitators discretion as an additional layer of precaution.

I've held multiple women's circles there that require a strong container for intimacy and vulnerability and it's both physically and metaphorically a tight container. You can't hear a peep from the shop, and the shop can't hear a peep from you. The location of the bathrooms keeps breaks contained and private, and the studio is simply beautiful. Sara and Jannie have made the experience of renting the space effortless, and welcoming attendees through the shop infuses the whole experience allowing them to browse the abundance of goods beforehand. It's in a great location, within walking distance of good accommodation if attendees want to travel from afar, and I can't imagine hosting anywhere else.
