Sweat Your Prayers® is a weekly 5Rhythms® meditation practice where we move through the rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness with breath and intention in community.
Each Sunday is open to 30 dancers. 5 drop-in spots will be open on the day of each dance as long as there is room, but this does not guarantee your spot. Pre-registration is very appreciated and holds your spot. If the date is full, please add yourself to the waitlist.

What do I wear? - Clothes that are comfortable to move and sweat in. What not to wear ~ Socks, street shoes*, or scents.
*if your feet are in need of support please wear a jazz dance shoe, an indoor only shoe, or foot undies.
I have never done this before, what should I expect? - To participate as you are able and be willing to move. Staying curious about your own movement is a wonderful way to begin, to follow the movement of your own body as there are no prescribed steps to follow. Sweat Your Prayers in minimally guided, we begin with a warm-up followed by a short guided exercise to ground us into the practice and then we dance a wave!
No cell phones on the dance floor. No chatting on the dance floor - Our focus is movement.
Bring a water bottle.
Be on time - doors open at 9:50 and the last entry is at 10:10, when the doors will lock.
All bodies are welcome, 16 years and older.
